Hi, I’m Kali!
I’m an in-home pet sitter based in Lowell, Michigan, serving Lowell and nearby areas like Ada, Cascade, East Grand Rapids, Alto, Saranac, and Murray Lake (anywhere within about a 20 minute drive from downtown Lowell). The best part? You don’t have to uproot your pets from the comfort and familiarity of home because I come to you!
Whether I’m spending the night or popping in for a quick potty break, your animals will be given my undivided love and attention. My business motto is something I take very seriously: creating an everlasting bond and becoming best friends with your pets is my top priority. Think of me as your pets’ trusted comfort person when you are not around! My goal is to build special connections, while keeping your critters happy, comfortable, and safe. I don’t just care for your pets, I really get to know them, their quirks, their favorite toys, and what makes them feel safe and loved.
I know being away from your furry family members can be hard, so I make communication a top priority. You’ll receive frequent updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your companions are happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
My Experience
I’ve been professionally pet sitting and running my own business since 2022, but my love for animal care goes way back. I’ve been watching pets for friends and family since 2018, and I’ve built extensive experience caring for anxious, elderly, and special needs pets.
Growing up, I spent 12 years showing horses in 4-H, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how to care for all kinds of animals. My childhood home was always full of critters. We had pugs, a pitbull, cats, gerbils, and even a bearded dragon! I’m comfortable with pets of all personalities and sizes, and my calm, gentle nature helps shy or nervous animals feel at ease.
My professional pet care journey actually began in the horse world. As soon as I got my drivers license, I became the go-to house sitter for fellow equestrians. During college, I joined Rover.com, earning over 50 five-star reviews while balancing my studies. After graduating from GVSU in 2024, I followed my heart and took my business full time. I have really fallen in love with providing custom care for all sorts of animals, and feel so lucky to spend my days surrounded by furry friends!
