My Background

My love for animal care goes way back. I’ve been watching pets for friends and family since 2018, and I’ve built extensive experience caring for all kinds of pets - anxious, senior, special needs, shy… you name it!

I grew up surrounded by animals! I spent 12 years of my youth showing horses in 4-H, which taught me responsibility and patience. My childhood home was always full of critters. We had pugs, a pitbull, cats, gerbils, and even a bearded dragon! I’m comfortable with pets of all personalities and sizes, and my calm, gentle nature helps shy or nervous animals feel at ease.

My professional pet care journey actually began in the horse world. As soon as I got my driver’s license, I became the go-to house sitter for fellow equestrians. During college, I joined Rover and earned over 50 five-star reviews. After graduating, I followed my heart and took my pet sitting business full time, no longer booking through Rover and instead focusing on providing thoughtful, customized care directly to my clients.

Outside of pet care, I’m a proud Lowell native and a 2020 Lowell High School graduate. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from GVSU in 2024. I am pretty quiet, and I love a cozy night in with my cat Minnow. I enjoy reading, watching sunsets, attending concerts, a bit of self care/beauty, and unwinding with a good TV show. My family likes to joke that I’m a grandma at heart, and I bring that same calm energy into the way I care for your pets! ;)

My Mission

After years of caring for pets and hearing countless horror stories from owners about missed visits, poor communication, or people who treated pet care like a “quick buck”, I quickly realized that something was missing in the community that I call home: reliable and compassionate animal care.

This is why I built my business motto around a simple philosophy: “I’ll be best friends with your pets!”

My motto is very intentional, and it reflects the way I approach every pet. Pet sitting has never been just about meeting pets' needs or checking a box. I have always focused on building trust with your pets, and becoming a familiar, “second-best” person while their main humans are gone. When pets feel comfortable with their caregiver, they are much more relaxed overall. This directly benefits owners as well, who receive professional updates with reassurance that their pets are genuinely doing well in their absence. When both pets and owners feel secure, being away from home becomes much less stressful for everyone involved - it’s really a win-win situation!

As my business continues to grow, I remain committed to the same standards that inspired me to enter this industry in the first place. Any support I bring onto my team is carefully chosen to ensure pets receive the same level of care that I would provide, with emphasis on becoming best friends with the pets we are looking after.

Nowadays, nothing makes me happier than continuing to build real bonds with the pets in our care. Knowing that clients can finally enjoy some time away without worrying about their pets is exactly why I started this business, and it remains the most rewarding part of what I do!
