Because this service is often booked on short notice, no deposit is required. However, if we are holding a spot for you more than 48 hours in advance, or if your booking falls during holidays or peak travel times, the following cancellation fees apply:

No Cancellation Fee – Cancel by 12:00 PM (noon) the day before the scheduled visit.

50% Cancellation Fee – Cancel after 12:00 PM the day before, but before the day of the visit.

Full (100%) Cancellation Fee – Cancel on the day of the visit or after the visit has started.

  • Overnight Cancellations

    Deposits:
A non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total booking cost is required to secure all overnight bookings. Booking dates are not confirmed until the retainer has been received.

    Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled start date, by 12:00 PM.

Cancellations made 7 or more days in advance:
The 50% retainer is non-refundable. No additional charges will apply.

Overnight

Guest

Policy

For the safety and comfort of both your pets and our sitters, no guests are expected or allowed in the home during a house sitting stay.

Unexpected visitors can be stressful for pets and create safety concerns for our team. If someone does need access, please arrange it in advance with us so we can coordinate properly.

Thank you for helping us keep your pets safe, your home secure, and the stay as smooth as possible!

Pet Compatibility & Safety Policy

Meet and greets and initial bookings are used to assess compatibility between pets and their caregiver. While uncommon, some pets may experience significant fear or discomfort that prevents safe or low-stress pet care.

Although this happens rarely, we do reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if a booking is determined to be unsafe, excessively stressful for the pet, or otherwise not an appropriate fit for the pet or team member.

Whenever possible, current bookings will be completed safely and clients will be given notice and communication to arrange alternative care for future bookings.
